The People who are living in the skyscrapers and palatial buildings do not know the real feel of nature. The ever-flowing brook of water, chirping of birds, acrobatic movements of arboreal and the young ones of the wild east’s are known to them simply in the pictorial forms because they never have the privilege to be in contacts with the object
ts of nature. As, P.T. Rousseau says, "Nature is the best teacher". The trees, flower, birds & green leaves can teach the philosophy of life in a better way than the formal teachers. The tiger project is an integral part of the Satpuda renges. This beautiful national scene has encompassed the area of 1676.893 sq. kms. When we visit some of the beautiful places here, we are taken up in the world of joy & for a while we forget the world of worries & care.
"Melghat" which is known as the paradise of Vidarbha is a source o perennial pleasure. In the year 1974, nine tiger projects were brought into being & one of them is our 'Melghat'. In order to establish close proximity with the life in Melghat we have to spare some time to read the silver setting which is blessed with no. of things, for instance, ancient movements revealing Indian culture, precious medicinal plants, rare species of nature, etc. Similarly the Gavilgad fort of Chikhaldara, attracts the attraction of the tourists.
The ruins of this fort speak of the lifestyle of its inhabitants. We can also deduce certain socio-political & socio-economic aspects of the prevalent culture. These are the legacies of our Indian culture & we as the responsible citizen of India should be very much cautious to preserve the movements and put in conscious efforts so that the beauty & the glory of this project will always remain a fascinating think for one & all.
